Hubside.store expands its European network in Hérault with the opening of a new shop in Béziers.

Launched in September 2020 and recognised by the 2022 French Tech Next40/120 promotion, Hubside.Store, a specialist in the sale of new and refurbished smartphones and multimedia products, is continuing its deployment in Europe and in France. After a dynamic year 2021 marked by the opening of a hundred shops, including 6 in Occitania, the network is densifying its regional network with the opening, on Wednesday 9 February, of a new shop in Béziers, within the Polygone shopping centre.

Hubside.Store expands its network in Occitania to become the reference actor of refurbished and rented multimedia products.

Thanks to its dynamic growth, the Hubside.Store network is further intensifying its presence in the Occitanie region. With already 6 shops in Montpellier, Lattes, Labège, Roques (near Toulouse), Blagnac (near Toulouse) and Nîmes, Hubside.Store is building on its momentum with the opening of a new outlet in Béziers. This is a strategic location for the brand, which wants to accompany the connected life of the French by providing them with a local service through a dense territorial presence. The brand will thus have 7 shops in the region.

"We have maintained the course of our development and have achieved a successful year in 2021 with a hundred shops opened and a business volume of 130 million euros, which even exceeds our initial forecasts. The year 2022 has begun under the best auspices with a nomination within the 2022 class of the prestigious French Tech Next40/120 programme, a great recognition for having taken up a major challenge which encourages us to continue our roadmap. To date, the network represents around one hundred shops and many jobs created in Europe in 2021. Our ambition is to become a leading player in the field of refurbished multimedia products and local services in the connected world in France and in Europe," says Sadri Fegaier, CEO of Hubside.Store.

Hubside.Store, tech for the circular economy

Launched in 2020, Hubside.Store is a network of owned and franchised shops, which aims to bring all the experiences of the connected world to life and make technology accessible to all, while following an eco-responsible approach. Hubside.Store has developed a wide range of new and refurbished multimedia products (smartphones, PCs, tablets, TVs, accessories, etc.) and complementary services to manage one's connected life (in-store repair and recycling space, multimedia and urban mobility equipment rental, website creation, multimedia insurance, etc.).

In order to control the quality of reconditioned products and the reliability of repairs, the brand has brought its own repair centre in-house in France (Romans-sur-Isère, Drôme), a know-how that it is developing thanks to its repair technicians. More than 100 references of refurbished smartphones are offered from among the biggest brands at competitive prices (30 to 40% less than new), guaranteed for 24 months (satisfied or reimbursed, the company refunds the difference if customers find a cheaper product elsewhere). This range of products represents 60% of the network's sales.

The company already has around one hundred points of sale in France and Europe, and its ambition is to reach the company aims to have 200 outlets by the end of 2022 and 500 by 2023.

Hubside.Store is present in France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium and plans to expand into Germany and Italy in the coming months. To support its deployment, Hubside.Store has launched a vast recruitment plan for more than 1,000 people in Europe, including 800 permanent positions and 100 work-study students in France.
